For this entry of our "Blast from the past" Blog segment, we will feature Filipina actress Arci Munoz.


Arci Monoz got into the Filipino scene in 2005 via a GMA talent show called Starstruck. She was signed to GMA and was able to star in a few kapuso dramas such as Until Forever wher she played Donna; the main antagonist  alongside Heart Evangelista and JC De Vera.



She then moved to TV5, the Kapatid network where she top billed the serye Roses and Thorns alongside Ritz Azul. The serye was aired on KTNKenya and it was the last we saw of her.

In 2014, Arci Munoz got her big break after she got signed by Star Magic and starred in her first ever ABSCBN teleserye, Pasion De Amor which she was paired with Jake Cuenca. It is the remake of Colombian Teleserye Pasion De Gavilanes.

After the success of her Serye, she starred in a Star Cinema move; Always Be My Maybe alongside Gerald Anderson and it became a box office hit.She made more films under Star Cinema and Viva Films then returned to the small screen in 2016. This was on I'll Never Say Goodbye (Magpahanggan Wakas) where she was paired with Jericho Rosales.


Arci who is single has however been subject to controversy due to her image change and is said to have undergone plastic surgery procedures that have altered her look through the years.

We will get the chance to see Arci Munoz again as she returns to the Kenyan Scene on I'll Never say goodbye, the serye set to replace Doble Kara on KTN Kenya.
