My Faithful Husband replaced My Destiny on KTNKenya on 5th
of January 2017. The show is a GMA production from 2015 starring Dennis Trillo and Jenylyn Mercado and directed
by Direk Joyce E. Bernal.
Dennis and Jenylyn play the characters of Emman and Melanie respectively. Emman
is a young man looking for affection when he meets Melanie, a love struck student who unfortunately gets pregnant by
her school sweetheart, Dean played by
Mikael Daez. Dean refuses to take responsibility for the child and hence Emman offers to marry Mel. That is the general foundation of
the show which contains a stellar support cast that includes Nonie Buencamino, Rio Locsin, Louise De Los
Reyes, Ricky Davao, Kevin Santos, Enzo Pineda among others.
Dennis and Jenylyn used to date but broke up in 2011. They
however managed to rekindle their romance while shooting My Faithful Husband
and love seems lovelier the second time around. As we continue with the show,
let’s wish the best for DenJen.
Judging from the comments of Facebook about the show’s first
episode, it’s safe to say that Kenyans are already going to love the show. Feel
